Krampus (2015)
Krampus is a Christmas horror story about a young boy who, having a bad Christmas, accidentally summons Krampus; a demonic character of germanic folklore. The 2015 feature film is directed by Michael Dougherty and produced by Legendary pictures.
Human Dynamo made this snowglobe for the film, which features in the end of the film as an important hero prop. The house within the globe is an exact replica of the actual house set used for most of the filming of the movie, and the snowglobe plays a pivotal role in the narrative at the conclusion of the film.

We used 3D printing to replicate each side of the house, assembled it, then one of our model makers created the trees and snow by hand using miniature model making techniques. The house was hand painted and then fitted into the snow globe. -
Human Dynamo has had a lot of previous experience creating artificial snow, and we were able to apply that experience to create this tiny winter landscape.
